I just won an ebay auction for a vintage D&B bag, but it looks kind of like a cross between an Over & Under and a Surrey… So, I was looking online to see if it was authentic, but now that I saw this post, I’m nervous it’s not…

Wow, it would be so much mor ehelpful if you would explain why the bags are fakes. The photos are not very good so and explanation would be more than helpful. Those last two bags look perfectly legitimate to me.

Also read other articles such as https://vintagedooneybourke.wordpress.com/2014/07/23/a-quartet-of-fake-dooney-bags/ where there are specific comments to very similar fakes bags. Most fakes have the same fake features.

And PS to the above. I use the photos that are sent to me by readers. They do vary in size and quality but if you take the time to examine them and compare them to other authentic and fake bags, you will start to see and learn.
